Assignment #7 (Artists Statement)
My blog (onlythefinestthings.blogspot.com) is different than any other artwork that I have done before, but inside it I can find a deeper meaning that relates to most of my past work. My artwork has a lot to do with my identity: who I am, where I came from, and who helped shape my life. When I lost my father at age 15 and my grandfather shortly after, All that I had left of them were stories, memories, and objects to remind me of my father figures.
When my older friends tell me a joke or a story it reminds of me of when my father would do the same. In a way, recording these stories is a similar art making experience of exploring who I am as animation or any other from of art.

Assignment #1 (Blog Statement)
For my blog "Only The Finest Things" I wanted to create a collection of my favorite stories, jokes, rants from my best friends over 60. I work with several older people who are always telling me stories and jokes that I find amazing and thanks to this class have more of a motivation to record and share. These jokes/stories are raunchy, hilarious, nonsensical, and honest which I find very interesting. I plan on recording video from at least three different people who are my favorite story/joke tellers and especially from "Uncle Bob" my best friend over 70.

Assignment #10 (Links)
http://www.cg-blog.com/
this blog was interesting because it discussed the technical side of computer modeling/animation, plus there were links to apply for pixar.
http://www.protocam.com/blog/
This site was cool because it was a blog about rapid prototyping, and technological advances with rapid prototyping equipment
http://www.extremecraft.com/
Extreme craft is awesome because it opened me up to a whole underground craft world that I was unaware of, and some of the work is very impressive and strange
http://www.animationblogspot.com/
A blog all about animation with plenty of links about computer, sketch, professional and other kinds of animation
And of course a good blog for pipe tobacco smokers
